The "DC Dance Challenge"
(DCDC) is organized by local members
of the United
States Showcase and Dance Challenge Association (USSDC),
with all competitive dances and levels, plus Salsa, and
Argentine
Tango. This exciting one day ballroom dance competition
features
special eventsas "Jack and Jill" mixer
competition, our students
evening "Dancing with the
Stars" Showcase and last our variety
Pro-Show "Superstars of Dance"
DCDC is unique to any kind of dancer.
Newcomer competitors will
find friendly features as optional
uncontested entries, and judges
proficiency scoring. Advanced
dancers with open routines will find
a challenge on Advanced
Bronze, Silver and Gold level entries.
The 3-dance Championships
great for all competitiors and for a
rewardthe Advanced Amateur 5-dance scholarship with cash prizes.
For the audience, besides the
great events of competition during the
day, DCDC offers
an evening full of excitement with a dance party and
a Professional Dance Show
at the Glamorous Spanish Ballroom with a
variety of dances performed by the DCDC professional partners.
Plenty
of dancing for the general public will
also be available.
