This is the fourth edition of the Annual DC Dance Challenge and Showcase.
Everything was specially designed for dancers like you that want to have a
good time touring, partying, performing, competing and most of all dancing.
The events were carefuly planned to explore the best features of partner
dancing in this area.

 
Welcome Guest Party & Workshop
Held on October 8th, Saturday night. This event is to welcome all
competitors and DC social dancers. There will be a workshop prior to the
party giving to the competitors. It will be a good chance to meet and dance
with the other competitors as the party starts. You and your teacher are the
Stars of the night with the participation of all local studios and traveling guests.
Maybe practice a little or simply have a good time before the big Competition day!.

One Day DC Dance Challenge Dancesport Competition

Will be held on Sunday at Glen Echo Park, at the Magnificent
"Spanish Ballroom". This beautifuly restored 1933 Mediterranean style
Art Deco building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places,

is one of the best dance halls in the East Coast area.

DC Dance Challenge and Showcase
Is organized by local members of the USSDC and Forever Dancing L.L.C.,
with all competitive dances and levels, plus Salsa and Argentine Tango.
Come to dance! Whether a competitor, performer, or spectator there’s something for
all to enjoy. This one day competition will feature: Newcomer to Advanced competitors
in Smooth, Rhythm, Latin, and Standard dance styles. Evening Dance Showcase.
Open Dance Party . Workshops & Professional Shows. All events are open to local
studios and traveling guests.
